Emily J. Carter is a nature conservation photographer, educator, and speaker whose work blends fine art with environmental storytelling. Widely published and exhibited, her photography captures the quiet beauty, texture, and emotion of the natural world while encouraging a deeper appreciation for conservation and the environment.

Through her signature series, Nature as Art, Emily explores the subtle details and fleeting moments often overlooked in nature, inviting viewers to slow down and reconnect with the outdoors. Her images have been featured in solo and juried exhibitions as well as numerous publications.

For more than a decade, Emily has taught photography workshops and classes locally and internationally, helping photographers of all skill levels strengthen their technical abilities while developing their creative vision. She is also a sought-after speaker and competition judge for camera clubs and photography events.

Emily currently serves as a staff writer and photographer for Nature and the Environment, published by BioTriad Environmental, and leads photography tours with Women in Wildlife Photography. Her background in Global Management, Human Resources, and the travel industry brings a unique global perspective to her photography and teaching.
