Fitness level: Moderate. Clients should be able to withstand multiple hours in a safari jeep being bounced around.

Set out on an unforgettable photography adventure to explore iconic wildlife, and vast landscapes in Tanzania’s world-renowned parks and reserves. Designed for photographers, this Photo Safari will visit Arusha and Tarangire National Parks, as well as impressive Ngorongoro Crater. Cap off the safari experience in the legendary Serengeti ecosystem, home to Africa's famed Big Five and countless other species, with opportunities to capture stunning images along the way.

Maximum 8 participants.

TOPICS INCLUDE

  • Understanding natural habitats and the wildlife that live in them. 

  • Essential elements in wildlife photography.

  • Compositional approaches for wildlife photography.

  • Technical aspects for proper exposure.  

WORKSHOP FEE INCLUDES: 

  • Pre-workshop Zoom orientation (will be recorded.)

  • Post-workshop Zoom image review (date within two weeks of workshop end.)

  • Accommodation is single or double rooms.

  • All meals and transportation throughout the safari. 

WORKSHOP FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Soda beverages/alcohol, incidentals, tips and souvenirs.

CAMERA GEAR RECOMMENDED

  • Digital Camera(s) with memory cards & extra batteries.

  • Lenses: Telephoto 100-500mm, Landscape 25-105mm

  • BACKUP SYSTEM: Laptop with external hard drive and memory card reader.

WEATHER & CLOTHING 

The weather can be seasonably unpredictable. Upper 80s during the day and cooler at night. Plan for lots of dust and possibly rainy. Neutral colors is key, no dark colors to deter the Tse-Tse flies.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended as no refund will be offered due to cancellations for any reason. This insurance must be purchased the same day you make payment for this workshop. Reimbursement will be considered if your spot in the workshop is filled by another participant.
