PUFFINS IN CANADA

July 23, 2026 – July 30, 2026

Rate: $4,500 per person, single occupancy

Fitness level: Easy. Clients should be able to walk on a rocky shoreline and stand for lengths of time.

Join Emily Carter in a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the incredible and extensive shorelines of the North Coast “Cote’ Nord” of Canada and enjoy island life where nesting Atlantic puffins are steps away from your accommodations.

This photography workshop offers an exclusive and unique photographic adventure in the Cote’ Nord of Canada. Located on a small island within the Mingan Archipelago National Park, you will have incredible bird photographic opportunities, experience life on a quiet island, and be pampered by the resident chef with three generous meals a day.

While the Atlantic puffins are the star, Razorbills also nest on the island. Frequently seen on the island include the Common murre, Savannah sparrows, and shorebirds like the White-rumped sandpiper, Semi-palmated plover, Common Eider, Black-back gulls, Herring gulls and more. You may also get the chance to hear a passing blowing Whale or see the head of a gray seal popping above the water.

Perhaps one of the best things of life on the island is the sense of peacefulness and quiet surroundings that allow you to slow down, smell the salty air and rediscover yourself.
